Osprey

The Osprey pandion haliaetus known as Gabilan Piscado in our local language of Papiamento.  As a fish eater, the Osprey can spot its prey from as far as 40 meters.  It will take its catch feet first with its large talons.  The Osprey can have a wing span up to six feet.  Females are larger than the males.  They can be seen flying along the coast as they are fishing specialists.
