Length: The Beyisima can grow up to 13 meters long.
Plant characteristics: It is an invasive plant. It grows over other plants, blocks sunlight, and in this way slows down the growth of other plants. The Beyisima is difficult to remove because it forms tubers that can lie deep in the ground.
Leaves: The leaves are dark green, heart-shaped to triangular. They can grow up to 12 cm long.
Description of flowers: The flowers grow in large clusters and are bright pink-red. There are also plants with white flowers. The flowers are visited by bees and are about 3.5 cm in size.
VFrom the leaves and flowers, a tea is made that helps against coughs and a swollen throat.
